Troubleshooting Ticket Purchase

All online raffles in Ontario are required to use location services to verify the purchaser is within the province. Typically the issue is a browser or device GPS setting that is disabled. You’ll need to activate location services on your browser in order to make a purchase.

Google Chrome

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More > Settings.
  3. Under “Privacy and security,” click Site settings.
  4. Click Location.
  5. Turn Ask before accessing on or off.

 

Microsoft Edge

  1. Go to Start > Settings > Privacy > Location.
  2. Turn on Allow access to location on this device.
  3. Turn on Allow apps to access your location.
  4. Turn on Allow desktop apps to access your location if present.

 

Safari

  1. Open your iOS’s Settings app.
  2. Tap [Privacy] > [Location Services] …
  3. Tap [Privacy] > [Location Services] > [Safari Websites]
  4. Tap [Allow Location Access] > Set to [While Using the App]

Please note location services relies on verification based on your internet service provider’s location. Some mobile data providers may be providing your internet connection from an out-of-province source that will not register your device as located in the province. If this occurs please try switching your device from mobile data to a local Wi-Fi connection.
